Note From Our President
 The following saying by Samuel Johnson is one I have always liked: “The next best thing to knowing something, is knowing where to find it.” Having professional success is important to each of us. I learned early on WCR is an organization dedicated to its membership and sharing knowledge is one of its core values. We are committed to providing opportunities to learn, grow and become leading professionals in the Real Estate community.
In January, the state meetings for WCR were held in Monterey. The meetings were packed with both leadership and industry information. In attendance were Realtors from all around California. Learning the challenges and opportunities colleagues in other markets are faced with was truly insightful for me. If you have never attended a state meeting, I suggest you try to do so in the future. The next one will be May 31 through June 2 in Sacramento.
This year we have teamed up with Monterey County Association of Realtor’s for several of our Business Resource meetings. The location is central and the price is affordable. Our first three meetings were very well attended and if it has been a while since you have participated please mark your calendar to attend our June 12th meeting at the Monterey Marriott for the “Mayor's Panel”. The program will provide the opportunity to meet four and learn about our community from four of our local Mayor's.
It’s not important to know everything, but it is important to know how to find the answer. Attending WCR meetings will help you find the answers in this ever-changing and challenging industry.
