NOTE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
The Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) Monterey Peninsula Chapter is celebrating 10 wonderful years of service to our local REALTOR® community. As we launch into 2012, it seems appropriate to reflect how we have empowered women to exercise their potential as entrepreneurs and industry leaders. For 10 years Women’s Council REALTORS® has provided programs and events to position members to stay on top of the competition.
Our goal going forward will be to continue to provide networking opportunities, and programs and events to assist you in learning about business-building resources. Our efforts will be focused on serving you and helping to keep you appraised of industry trends. At the same time, as part of a wonderful Monterey community we need to continue to support, care, and give back. “Attitude and Gratitude” – our motto for what I know will be a spectacular year for all of us.
I look forward to leading the way as your President for 2012. I am so privileged and genuinely honored to represent you this year.
A man named Kenny Asubel said: “Each of us has a spark of life inside us, and our highest endeavor ought to be to set off that spark in one another." Mr. Asubel runs a nonprofit company dedicated to “promoting practical solutions and innovative social strategies for restoring the Earth and people.” Wow! I know nothing about the man or his organization. But, I like the quote. Let’s set off that “spark” in each other.
